Funeral services for Lionel Prier of Mansura will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 beginning at 10am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 23, 2018 beginning at 8am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Burial will be held at a later date.

Lionel Prier, age 66, passed away at his home in Mansura on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis & Benita Prier; siblings, David Prier, Michael Prier, & Gerard Prier.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Catrina Washington, Katrina Stanford, Benitha James, Sharail Prier, Stephan James, & Lonnie James; siblings, Mary Ann Thomas, Janet Prier, & Jeffery Prier. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
