Funeral services for Lizzie Jones of Cottonport will take place at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, March 5, 2011, beginning at 11:00am, with Rev. Chris Augustine officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral services, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the Jerusalem Baptist Cemetery.
Lizzie Jones, age 88, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. She is survived by her children, Charlie Lee Jones of Cottonport, Shirley Mae Tompkins of Cottonport, Sam James Williams of Marksville, Mae Bell Jones of Cottonport, Irma Marie Ford of Marksville, Sylvia Ann Jones of Cottonport, Jeanette Washington of Cottonport, Michael Ray Jones of Dallas, Ronald Lee Jones of Bunkie. She is also survived by her fiftyfive grandchildren, seventytwo greatgrandchildren, eleven greatgreatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
