Funeral service for Lloyd James Tassin of Moreauville will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Church in Bordelonville. Visitation will be held at St. Peter Church Hall in Bordelonville on Wednesday, May 06, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. to midnight and will re-open at 8 a.m. the next morning. A Rosary will also be said that night at 6:30 p.m. Lloyd Tassin, age 73, passed away at his home on May 6, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father Merrick Tassin and mother Faloniece Marcotte. He is survived by his; wife, Elwanda Tassin of Bordelonville; daughters, Pam Tassin of Bordelonville Jo Beth Tassin of Texas; son, David Lewis Tassin of Bordelonville; sisters, Betty Laborde of Slidell, Clara Laborde of Bordelonville, Janice Capponi of Slidell. He is also survived by his six grand children; Jodi, Dori, Jenny, Jade, Greg, Jenna, and his great grandchildren; Emli, Jaden, Kennedy, Madison, Blaise, Graci, Chloe, Jonah, Abby.
