Lois Lemoine

Funeral Services for Lois Lemoine will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville at 11am on Friday, April 24, 2015. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5pm-10pm and reopening on Friday from 8am-11am.

Let us be grateful for those who give us happiness. They are the charming gardeners who make our souls bloom. Lois Mae Soldani Lemoine, 80 Years old, of Moreauville passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Grace Home. She was born on August 29, 1934. Lois is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Vincent P. Lemoine Sr., her parents; Wilhenry and Blanche Couvillion Soldani and brothers; Emanuel Soldani and Hubert Soldani.

Survivors include three sons; E.P. and wife Ila Lemoine, Bruce and wife Charissa Lemoine of Moreauville, Vincent and wife Claire Lemoine of Marksville. One daughter; Arlene and husband Ronnie Juneau of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by one brother, Leonard Soldani of Moreauville and two sisters, Bernadine Bordelon of Fifth Ward and Frances Szekely of Moreauville. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.

Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She will be fondly remembered for her ability to produce abundant amounts of vegetables in her garden and her insistence on sharing them with everyone she knew. Her deep faith was evident in her daily mass attendance and service to her church.

Ecclesiastes 12:7, Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall return unto god that gave it.
