Lois Normand

Funeral Mass for Lois Normand of Simmesport will begin at 12:30pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Lois Normand, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Gerald Normand of Simmesport; son, Troy (Myra) Normand of Simmesport; brothers, Lawrence Mayet, Jr. of Thibodeaux and Sylvester Mayet of Pierre Part; grandchildren, Elise Noel Normand, Kennedy Paul Normand, Jessie Normand; 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tisha Normand; parents, Lawrence Mayet & Eugenie Leblanc Mayet; siblings, Clara Himel and Johnny Mayet.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 12:30pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
