Funeral services for Lonie Scallan Clavin of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Thursday, December 30, 2010, beginning at 1:00pm, with Fr. Charles Morgan officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport, prior to the funeral, from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Mausoleum.
Lonie Clavin, age 85, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Sunday, December 26, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew James Clavin parents, John Safora Mayeux Scallan brothers, Floyd Scallan, Eugene Scallan, Lloyd Scallan, Alec Scallan, Ule Scallan, Frank Scallan sisters, Gertie Shaff, Loretta Lutchwich. She is survived by her sisterinlaw, Juanita DiMaggio of Slidell.
