Lonis Dauzat

Funeral Services for Lonis J. Dauzat of Hessmer will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer at 10:30am.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Escud Funeral Home of Mansura from 2pm until 10pm and a wake service will be at 5:30pm. Burial will take place at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum.
Lonis Dauzat, age 96, was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Phelonese Dauzat and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Michot Dauzat of Hessmer two sons, Charles Dauzat of Carriere, MS and Luther Dauzat of Hessmer one daughter, Louanna Lachney of Hessmer brother, Edmond Dauzat of Hessmer and sister, Enola Duplechin of Cottonport. He is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jody Dauzat Charles Jr., Michael Lachney, Cole Lemoine, Dylan Lemoine, Christopher Lachney, Matthew Lachney, Clint Moreau and Mike Mayeaux. Crossbearer will be Casey Moreau.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
