Funeral services for Lorraine Lemoine Meche of Cottonport will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 beginning at 4pm at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont with Fr. George Krosfield officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 beginning at 9am until 3pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport. Burial will follow services at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Lorraine Meche, age 65, passed away at her home in Cottonport on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Mrs. Meche was preceded in death by her parents Fred Della Gaspard Lemoine. She is survived by her husband, J.C. Meche of Cottonport and her four children, son Evans wife Tonia Meche of Plaucheville, son Todd wife Melanie Meche of Big Cane, daughter Jackie Meche of Prairieville and daughter, Donna husband Jody Deaville of Plaucheville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and one stepgrandchild. Honored to assist in Mrs. Meches funeral service are pallbearers: Trent Meche, Garrett Meche, Coy Deaville, Valerie Hardy, Billy Bonnette and Donald Meche crossbearer: Brannon Hardy gift bearers: Logan Deaville Wyatt Meche music: Dianne Dalgo and singing: granddaughters Kristen Meche, Marlayna Meche, and Joni Meche.
