Funeral services for Louis Pooky Mayeux, Jr. of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Friday, November 2, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the St. Peter Church Hall, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Friday morning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Pooky Mayeux, Jr., age 72, passed away at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Ludy Mayeux, Sr. sister, Sandra Desselle. He is survived by his wife, Judith Mayeux of Bordelonville, children, Angela Crenshaw husband Paul of Marksville, Kent Mayeux wife Debby of Baton Rouge stepchildren, Billy Bordelon wife Angie of Bordelonville, Susan Badeaux husband Andy of Walker brother, Glynn Mayeux wife Deanna of Baton Rouge grandchildren, Aaron Kaitlin Mayeux, Jared Hailey Crenshaw stepgrandchildren, Jordy Kelsie Badeaux, Rylee Dalgo.
