On Thursday, April 19, 2012 Sister Louise Greenhouse was called from her earthly home by her heavenly Father. She was born on February 3, 1920 to the late Moses Laurent, Sr. Louisiana Patterson Laurent. She embraced Christ at an early age and worked faithfully in the church in the mission ministry Sunday school and a lifelong volunteer for the Avoyelles Head Start system until her health failed her.
On April 28, 1940 she was united in holy matrimony to her loving and devoted husband Benjamin Greenhouse and was happily married for 72 years. To this union, ten children were born. Two of them preceded her in death, Amy Greenhouse Lynne Greenhouse Moore. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, her husband, Benjamin Greenhouse of Marksville her eight children, Lucian Greenhouse Gloria of Tyler, TX., Alden Greenhouse Patricia of Lindale, TX., Flynn Greenhouse of Tucson, AZ., Gradney Greenhouse Lisa of Marksville, Ray Greenhouse Donna of Tyler, TX., Jane Jones Albert of Tyler, TX., Beatrice Purvis of Los Angeles, CA., Judy A. Jones Donald of Hessmer. She is also survived by her fortyfive grandchildren, seventyone greatgrandchildren, six greatgreatgrandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She truly loved the Lord, her family, and anyone she came in contact with. Her presence will be surely be missed.
