Funeral services for Luby Mary Jeansonne of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Thursday, September 29, 2011, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
Luby Jeansonne, age 75, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center of Alexandria on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Ruby Dauzat Bordelon, Sr. sister, Marie Laborde brother, Oris Bordelon. She is survived by her husband, Steven Jeansonne, Sr. of Plaucheville children, Norma Taylor of Plaucheville, Steven Jeansonne, Jr. of Zachary, Germaine Meche of Plaucheville, Craig Jeansonne of Walker, Neda Mayberry of Bayou Jack, Dale Jeansonne of Dover, TN, Mona Taylor of Ventress, Melissa Jeansonne of Carencro, Brent Jeansonne of Walker sister, Helen Cazalot of Plaucheville brothers, Alvin Bordelon, Jr. of Walker, Bill Bordelon of Gonzales, Albert Bordelon. She is also survived by her twentyone grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren.
