Services for Lucy Gauthier will be held at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Mansura on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Mausoleum, Mansura under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura. Mrs. Lucy Gauthier, age 91, of Mansura died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Grace House in Alexandria. Family was always the center of Mrs. Gauthiers life, especially time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gauthier was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Abraham. Also her father Edward Gauthier, mother, Estelle Moreau Gauthier; brothers, Albert Gauthier, Elmore Kirby Gauthier, Folse Gauthier; sisters, Anita Laborde, Theresa Rabalais and Mamie Normand. Survivors include her son, Russell Gauthier and wife Linda of Alexandria; daughter Lorraine Gaspard and husband David of Pineville; six grandchildren Dwayne, Jamie, Mark Gauthier and Jennifer Mathews all of Alexandria, Bryce Gaspard of Lafayette and Robin Cosenza of Pineville; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura Friday from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a wake service at 7:00p.m. and Saturday from 9:00a.m. until time of services. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Dwayne Gauthier, Jamie Gauthier, Mark Gauthier, Vernon Mathews, Bryce Gaspard and John Cosenza.
