Lyman Neucere

Funeral services for Lyman J. Neucere of Simmesport will be held at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, beginning at 10:00am, with Rev. James Nellikumnel officiating. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Monday, October 25, 2010, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume at 8:00am Tuesday morning. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00pm, and burial services will commence at the St. Michael Cemetery.
Lyman J. Neucere, age 92, passed away at the Pointe Coupee Health Care Ceneter of New Roads on Saturday, October 23, 2010. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Neucere parents, Cyriaque Mary Vead Neucere. He is survived by is daughter, Betty Stroughter husband Charles of Denham Springs son, Hubert J. Neucere wife Janice of Denham Springs sister, Dora Neucere of Alexandria brothers, John Neucere of Bunkie, Joseph Neucere of Shreveport. He is also survived by six grandchildren twelve greatgrandchildren.
