Lynette Marie Bordelon Services for Ms. Lynette Marie Bordelon will be 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 with Father Chris Nayak officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Cottonport under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home of Cottonport. MS. Bordelon, 57, of Cottonport, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 in Lexington House Nursing Home, Alexandria. Ms. Bordelon was a retired teacher with Avoyelles Parish School Board, member of St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, a member of the Avoyelles Parish Teachers Association and the Louisiana Association of Educators. Survivors include two sisters, Rita Frankie Smith and husband Coy of Pineville, Kristen Kris Armand and husband Ronald of Plaucheville; two nieces Kimberly Long of Fairfax Station, VA, Kelly Mayeux of Pineville; three nephews, Spencer, Conner, and Matthew Armand all of Plaucheville; two great nieces, Lauren Long of Fairfax Station, VA and Megan Mayeux of Pineville; two great nephews, Billy Long of Fairfax Station, VA and Mason Mayeux of Pineville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard F. and Rita Bordelon. Pallbearers will be, Ronald Armand, Spencer Armand, Coy Smith, Terry Armand, Russell Gauthier and Will Guillory. There will be visitation from 8 AM until time of services today Wednesday.
