Funeral services for Mack LaPrairie of Simmesport will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Monday, January 26, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with Brother Robbie Strong officiating. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home that morning from 8:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Catholic Mausoleum.
Mack LaPrairie, age 79, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Friday, January 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Larca LaPrairie; brothers, James B. LaPrairie, Joseph H. Kimble, & Clayton J. LaPrairie. He is survived by his wife, Glenda LaPrairie of Simmesport; children, Floyd LaPrairie of Simmesport and Carla LaPrairie of Hamburg; sister, Shirley Bonnette of Simmesport; and grandchildren, Kayla Bordelon & Amelia LaPrairie; and his step-grandchild, Justin Tygres.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
