Madelyn Rabalais

Funeral services for Madelyn Marcotte Rabalais of Bunkie will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Saturday, November 12, 2011, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Friday, November 11, 2011, from 4:30pm to 8:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Madelyn Rabalais, age 83, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital of Alexandria on Thursday, November 10, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Rabalais, Sr. brothers, Ira Marcotte, Gene Marcotte sister, Shirley Danehower. She is survived by her children, Keith Rabalais and wife Gwen of Alexandria, Brad Rabalais and wife Myrna of Zachary, Malcolm Rabalais, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Lafayette, Vickie Rabalais Earles and husband John of Bunkie, Maxie Rabalais Zachary and husband Donnie of Zachary sister, Gayle Laborde of Broussard brother, Thurston Marcotte of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren seventeen greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons,John Earles, II, Digger Earles, Ryan Jackson, Benjamin Zachary, Eric Rabalais, Alex Mayeaux. The Crossbearer will be Jay Earles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital PO Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101.
