Mae Poret

Mae Rose Poret, 88, of Mansura passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Grace Home Hospice in Alexandria. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 beginning at 11am in St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Escud Funeral Home in Mansura. from 4 pm until 9 pm. Wake services will be at 7pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning at 8am. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura. Survivors include her daughters, Merril Larry Breaux of Mansura, Carol Edwards of Mansura, Rhonda Terry Guillot of St. Francisville, La her son, Ray Cynthia Poret of Mansura. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Poret Jr. parents, Moise and Annie Rabalais brothers: Henry, Frank and Pierce Rabalais sisters: Laura LaBure, Pearl Firmin, Edola Firmin, Noamie Clapton, and Ethel Stark grandson, Ross Breaux.
