Funeral services for MaeDel Plauche Lemoine of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Saturday, June 20, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at the church at 10:00am. Burial will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
MaeDel Lemoine, age 90, passed at her daughter's home in Plaucheville on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lemoine, Sr.; parents, Wilton & Etta Cox Plauche, Sr.; sisters, Marguerite Dupre & Doris Maciasz; brothers, Richard Plauche, Gene Plauche, Sr., Buster Plauche, & Matthew Plauche. She is survived by her children, Jo Ann Carter (Garry), Alice Plauche, Bonnie Lemoine, Judith Lemoine, Theresa Dufour (Tim), Marie Jeanmard (Loring), & Buddy Lemoine (Lynette). She is also survived by her twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include her eleven grandsons; cross bearers, Olivia & Carter; and the choir will consist of her granddaughters & friends.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
