Funeral services for Marcel A. Pellegrin, Sr. of Zimmer will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Rexmere beginning at 11am. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the St. Peters Church Hall in Bordelonville beginning at 4pm until 10pm and will continue Monday morning at 8am until the time of service. Burial will be at the St. Michaels Cemetery in Rexmere. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Marcel A. Pellegrin, Sr., age 79, passed away at his home in Zimmer with his family on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He served in the National Guard and the Army and he retired as a crane operator from McDermott.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Rosetta Pellegrin and his two children, his son, Marcel A. Pellegrin, Jr. and wife Charlotte and his daughter, Barbara Riviere and her husband Joseph. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley, Megan, Dominie, and Cameron and also three greatgrandchildren: Hunter, Chase, and Zoey.
He was preceded in death by his parents Theophile Aleria Pellegrin his sister Azelia P. Bourg and his brothers, Joseph Bobby Pellegrin and Junior Tutu Pellegrin.
