Margaret Gauthier

Margaret Burton Gauthier was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on September 22, 1918. She passed away on January 20, 2016 in Baton Rouge. She is survived by six children & their spouses, Margaret Ann & Kenneth Eilers of Canton, GA; Paula & Frank Hardison of Baton Rouge; Everett & Madeline Gauthier of Beaufort, SC; Pat & Penny Gauthier of Pierre Part; David & Gina Gauthier of Baton Rouge; Marie & Jeb Arcement of La Place. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren & 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett P. Gauthier.

She loved her family, flowers, & music. She belonged to St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the Eucharistic ministers for bringing her Communion on Sundays. We would also like to thank Amedysis Hospice & Jen's Angels, Erin & Yolanda, who cared for her in her home. Our special thanks & appreciation go to Paula & Frank Hardison for their constant & loving care of our parents for 20 years.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9:00am- 10:45am at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. The funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville, La. where she was married in 1941.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, La.
