Margaret Mayeux

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Lambert Mayeux will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church of Belledeau with Reverend Silverino Kwebuza, AJ officiating. Burial services will commence at the St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning from 8:00am through 10:15am.
Mrs. Margaret Mayeux, 66, of Hessmer passed away from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Margaret was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Belledeau. She had been a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She was a successful homemaker who often volunteered for local causes. In 1986, she joined others in Avoyelles to bring Little League Baseball and Softball to Avoyelles Parish. She served as Avoyelles Little League President for fifteen years. Margaret was an avid LSU Tiger football fan, but an even bigger LSU Tiger baseball fan.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jannel M. Lambert. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald N. Mayeux children, Eric Mayeux and his wife Lisa, Jill Paul and her husband John, Toni Dubroc and her husband Randy, son Kipp Mayeux and his wife Jennalyn grandchildren, Tory Parks Thad, Ryne Mayeux, and Tyler Gagnard father, Anthony Lambert sister, Vicki Douglas John Dale nephew, Warren Douglas grandniece, Allyson Douglas, and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randy Dubroc, John Paul, John Douglas, Ryne Mayeux, Tyler Gagnard, and Warren Douglas.
