Funeral services for Margaret Anna Durinick McDonald, age 88 of Cottonport, will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 beginning at 1pm at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Jos RoblesSanchez. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11am until the time of service. Entombment will be in the St. Marys No. 2 Mausoleum in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Margaret Anna Durinick McDonald passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014, at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura. Mrs. McDonald was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived most of her life in Cottonport. She worked many years at Jubiee Sweater Company in Brooklyn, NY. Margaret remained very active in her church and community serving as a member of the Altar Society at St. Marys Assumption and the Womens Auxillary Post 186.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Margaret Voytasko Durinick brother, Steven Durinick and sister, Mary Kaczeton first husband, Cournist P. Guillory second husband, Joseph Daniel McDonald.
Those left to cherish her memories are her cousin, Joan Gottshall of Poughkeepsie, NY, nieces and nephew, and very close dear friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Keteral Ducote, II, James Deville, II, Stephen Deville, Dustin Deshotel, Kevin Carpenter, Lanee Ducote, and Devon Kelly crossbearer, Trey Ducote readers, Amanda Deshotel and Lauren B. Ducote.
We love you with all our hearts and we miss you dearly.
