Funeral services for Margie Luvada Williams of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Mansura on Saturday, July 14, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Ronald Gallerson Rev. Helvius Thompson, Jr. officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church on Saturday, prior to the funeral service, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Margie Williams, age 80, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Friday, July 6, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elie Williams parents, Rev. Dr. Calvin Edna Thomas Thompson. She is survived by her children Elwood Cooper, Sr. of Memphis, TN, Monica Mitchell of Lisle, IL and her sister, Doris Hannah Harris of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her three grandchildren.
