Funeral services for Marie Blance Ducote of Mansura will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 3:00pm at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Visitations will be held at the funeral beginning at 1:00pm and lasting until the funeral. Officiating clergy will be Rev. Abram OConnor. Entombment will take place at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Hessmer. Marie Blance Ducote, age 76, passed away at Rio Sol Nursing Home on Friday, June 12, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Alvin Ducote; parents, Saul Gremillion Grace Gremillion. She is survived by her; sons, David Ducote of Mandeville, Douglas Ducote of Mansura, Michael Ducote of Fifth Ward; sisters, Ella Mitchell of Franklinton, Gloria Bonnette of Simmesport, Louise Acklen of Baton Rouge, Emily Bates of Kenner. She is also survived by her two grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
