Marilyn Roy Butler Services for Marilyn Roy Butler will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Morgan officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mansura under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura. Marilyn Roy Butler, age 81, of Mansura, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville. Survivors include her daughters, Martha Butler Pernell of Mansura and Sherill Hall Mercer of Chadbourn, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel Neely Butler, Jr.; son, Neely Davis Butler, III; brother, Kirby A. Roy, Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Hildenbrand and Marjorie Vickers; father, Dr. Kirby A. Roy, Sr.; and mother, Naomi Ittmann Roy. Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura Friday, September 22, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a RosaryWake Service at 7 p.m. and will continue Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
