Marion "Estelle" Prevost

Funeral services for Marion Estelle Coco Prevost of Bordelonville will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 beginning at 11am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bordelonville. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 beginning at 9am until the time of service at the St. Peter’s Church Hall in Bordelonville. Interment will be held in the St. Peter Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Estelle Prevost, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at her residence in Bordelonville.

Estelle had a career in education that spanned 33 years starting as a music teacher and the 3^rd grade, she was a lifelong member of the St. Pater Catholic Church in Bordelonville where she was an organist and member of the choir for 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hans Prevost, and her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dr. Melinda Prevost (Dr. Gerald Miletello) of Baton Rouge; son, Mark Prevost of Bordelonville; seven grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren and a half sister, Rose Marie Guilbeau of Lafayette.

In lieu of flowers, the family please request that donations be made in her name to St. Peter Catholic Church, P.O. Box 31, Bordelonville, LA 71320.
