Funeral mass for Marjorie Francois Dupas of Mansura will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Mansura. Burial will follow at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Mansura.

Marjorie Francois Dupas was born in Mansura, La. on August 15, 1930 to Bertha James Francois and Joseph Francois, Sr.

Marjorie Dupas, age 90, passed away at the Riviere de Soleil Nursing Home on Friday, November 13th, 2020. She belongs to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Mansura.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, John Dupas (George Ethel), Augustine Dupas, Jr. (Daisy), Daniel Dupas (Efonda), Sarah Daranda (Jimmy), Brenda Edwards (Robert), Leshia Dupas, and Bernadette Smith (Calvin); sister, Genevieve Jobert. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustine William Dupas, Sr.; parents, Joseph, Sr. and Bertha James Francois; her brothers and sisters, and her grandson, Jeffery Ellington.

A visitation will begin at 8:00am until 10:45am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
