Marshall Strong

Funeral services for Marshall Strong of Simmesport will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 beginning at 11am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport from 5pm-9pm. Burial will be held at Christ the King Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Marshall Strong, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Avoyelles Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Gueho Strong; parents, James & Adeline Moreau Strong; brothers, Merrick Strong, Dallas Strong, James Strong, Abner Strong, David Bonnette, Sr.; sisters, Nellie Britt, Mary Guillory, Lillian Ellerbee, Earline Schexnayder; son-in-law, Lonnie Dupont. Those left to cherish his memory is his son, Carl Strong of Pearland, TX; daughters, Cathy Greeson of Clinton, LA, Claire Dupont and Marsha Strong both of Simmesport. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
