Funeral services for Martha Courville of Mansura will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the St. Pauls Catholic Church of Mansura, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, beginning at 5:00pm and lasting until 9:00pm. Visitations will resume the Wednesday morning at 8:00am. A rosary will also be cited at 7:00pm on Tuesday, with Father Chad Partain officiating the funeral service. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Cemetery. Martha Courville, age 71, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Huey P. Long Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her; parents, James Ann Johnson. She is survived by her family; husband, Harris Courville of Mansura; daughters, Catherine Fontanille of Alexandria, Lilya Hunt, Dry Prong, Mary Courville of Vernon, AL.; sons, Patrick Courville of Buffalo, IL., Michael Courville of Breaux Bridge, Jamie Courville of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Peggie Bordelon of Mansura, Linda Morgan of Mansura; brothers, Lawrence Johnson of Branson, MO., Marvin Johnson of Hessmer, Kenneth Johnson of Baton Rouge, Robert Johnson of Mansura, Nolan Johnson of Mansura, Charles Johnson of Cottonport. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include: Mary Hogue, Robert Johnson, Christopher Courville, Matthew Fontanille, Tony Matt, and Ben Nettles. Cross bearers will include: Stacy Courville, Brook Courville, and Sam Courville.
