Funeral service for Martha Jean Hensell of Mansura will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 6th, 2018 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 9:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Cemetery. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Martha Hensell, age 36, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Merle & Joyce Hensell, and Mary Jean Nichols. She is survived by her father, Merle Hensell (Madeline) of Mansura; mother, Rhonda Mozingo (John) of Michigan City, IN; brother, Matthew Hensell (Nikki) of Pineville; step-sisters, Stacey Pontiff, Casey Gremillion, & Raina Ducote; grandfather, Rudy Nichols; uncles, Mark Hensell (Judy), Mike Hensell, Walter C. Nichols (Tina); aunt, Mary Schram (Tim); niece and nephews, Ashton, Andrew, and Madison.
