Funeral services for Martin John Lemoine of Plaucheville will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 beginning at 1pm at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 beginning at 9am until 12:30pm at the Plaucheville Community Center. Burial will be at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum.
Martin Lemoine, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents Hilmen J. Dorsia Rabalais Lemoine, paternal greatgrandparents Victor Florence Lemoine, maternal greatgrandparents Arthur Amanda Rabalais.
He is survived by his sister Elouise and husband Harry Woodson of Opelousas, niece Kimberly and husband John Fontenot of Opelousas, and two great nephews, Devin and Seth Fontenot both of Opelousas.
