Mary Chatelain

Mary Bacon Chatelain passed away June 29, 2010 at 8:00am. She was a lifelong resident of Simmesport and left us at the age of 83.
She was the last surviving member of the Bacon family of Simmesport.
She was the widow of Raymond Chatelain, Sr. and is survived by two daughters, Pat Ervin of Vicksburg, MS and Janice Burton of Moss Point, MS., two sons, Michael Chatelain of Simmesport and Raymond Chatelain, Jr. of Lafayette eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport, on Friday at 11:00am. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30am until time of the service.
