Funeral services for Mary Day of Mansura, will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11 am at Our Lady of Promp Succor. Visitations will be held prior, on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura at 5pm to 10pm. A rosary will also be said this day beginning at 7pm. The funeral home will be re-opened prior to the funeral at 8am that morning. Mary A. Day, age 76, passed away at her home the morning of April 27, 2009. She is preceded in death by her, father, George Alexander, mother, Annie B. Jones. She is survived by her, son, George Alexander of Mansura, daughters, Sylvia Villemarette of Mansura, Karen Boyer of Marksville, step-son, John Day of Mansura, six sisters, Gloria Williams of Chicago, Leona Williams of Chicago, Josephine Freeman of South Carolina, Carrie Dupas of Baton Rouge, Eunice Hill of Houston, Cecile Ford of Marksville, half-sister, Harriette Guillot of Marksville, five brothers, Luke Jones of Mansura, Luther Jones of Mamou, Edward Jones of Mansura, Peter Jones of Chicago, David Jones of Mansura.
