Mary Descant

Funeral services for Mary Julia Descant will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Jacob Thomas Officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Assumption Mausoleum 1 of Cottonport.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport from 9 a.m. until 11a.m.
Mrs. Descant, age 86 of Cottonport, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Bayou Vista Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Irma Durand.
Survivors include one daughter, Irma Descant Andress of Cottonport two sons, Jacque Descant of Cottonport and Wayne Descant of Cottonport and one brother Ronald Durand of Mansura 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 greatgreat grandchildren
