Mary Desselle

Funeral services for Mary Faye Desselle of Cottonport will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 beginning at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonport. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday morning from 7:30am until the time of service. Burial will commence in St. Mary's #2 Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Mary Faye Desselle, age 75, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edgar J. Desselle; parents, Vance & Marjorie Brochard Smith; brother, Michael Smith.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Rhett Desselle, Sr. (Nancy) of Marksville, Joel Desselle (Connie) of Mansura, Dana Nugent of Cottonport, Scott Desselle (Tina) of Hessmer, Linda Desselle of Cottonport; sister, Janice Smith of Cottonport; grandchildren, Rhett Desselle, II., Olivia Turner, Casey Giglio, Whitney Mose, Christopher Desselle, Blake Desselle, Rachel Nugent, Morgan Barrere, Carly Barrere; 3 great-grandchildren, Rhett Desselle, III, Audrey Giglio, Reese Giglio and one Great-grandchild on the way. Those honored to be pallbearers are, Rhett Desselle, II., Christopher Desselle, Blake Desselle, Chris Giglio, Nick Mose, Barry Lacombe, and Crossbearer, Rachel Nugent.
