Funeral services for Mary Gagnard of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Friday, May 25, 2012, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Silverino Kwebuza officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, May 24, 2012, beginning at 5:00pm and will last all night until service times on Friday. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Cemetery 2.
Mary Gagnard, age 77, passed away at her home in Cottonport on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Gagnard, Sr. parents, Paul Mary Savoy Ducote, Sr. son, Randolph Gagnard brother, Paul Ducote, Jr. sister, Betty Fontanille. She is survived by her children, Ellis Gagnard of Cottonport, Marion Gagnard, Jr. of Marksville, Brenda Aymond of Evergreen brother, Ellis Ducote of Bayhills sisters, Josephine Marcotte of Bayhills, Alice Ducote of Georgia. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren fourteen greatgrandchildren.
