Funeral services for Mary Marjorie James Hebert will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 beginning at 2:00p.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Cottonport. Visitation will be held at Escude' Funeral Home of Cottonport beginning at 9:00a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place in St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Mansura.
Mary Hebert, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Sidney and Mary Adeline (Eaglin) Hebert; sons, Joseph Lloyd James and Joseph Lorris James; daughter Yvette Marie James; eight siblings, Louis RoyHebert, Joseph Lloyd Hebert, Joseph Floyd Hebert, Paul John Hebert, Mary Viola H. Edwards, Mary Eva Dell P. Lonzo, Mary Audrey H. Edwards and Mary Irene Hebert. She is survived by her children, Lonest James Jr., Anna Faye James Davis, Serada Mary Fox; sister, Linda H. Smith. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
