Funeral services for Mary Ann Louis of Mansura will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 beginning at 11am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 beginning at 9am until 11am at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Burial will be held at the St. Paul Cemetery in Manusra. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Mary Ann Louis, age 49, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home in Mansura. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Louis; maternal grandfather, Kirby Hollis; and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ophelia Louis.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Zachary Heath; mother, Ella Mae Hollis Louis; grandmother, Dorothy Hollis; sister, Defernia Louis; Uncle & Aunt, Gen & Dorothy Lambrick; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family & friends.
Mary Ann was a kind & friendly person; she was very honest & outspoken. Mary Ann was always laughing and enjoying the company of others. She enjoyed playing bingo & doing crossword puzzles in her spare time. Mary Ann will be missed dearly as a mother, daughter, granddaughter, & loving friend.
