Funeral service for Mary Lou Moore of Cottonport will begin at 11am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Golden Chain Baptist Church in Cottonport.  Burial will be held at Golden Chain Baptist Cemetery.

Mary Lou Moore, age 89, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Colonial Nursing Home in Marksville.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carolyn James (Paul), Jackie Moore, Brenda Lee Bazile (Reginald), Jacqueline Bonton, and Betty Joyce Moore; sons, James Moore (Stephanie), Johnny Lee Moore, Sr. (Aretha), Donald Moore, Sr. (Sherrin), and Ricky Moore, Sr.; sisters, Ella Louise Milo and Phyllis Matthews. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Floyd Ella Jenkins; sons, Calvin Moore, Jr., Frank Moore, Sr., and Danny Moore; mother, Orlena Washington Matthews and father, Thomas Matthews, Sr.; and nine siblings.

Visitation will begin at 9am until 11am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Golden Chain Baptist Church in Cottonport.
