Funeral services for Mary Christine James-Stevenson will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 beginning at 11:00am at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, LA. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 beginning at 9:00am until 11:00am at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, LA. Interment will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Mary Christine James-Stevenson Passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. Christine, as she was called, was born on December 25, 1951 to the late Evon and Sable Prier James. She was baptized at an early age at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura, LA.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her daughter, Tonia Holden (Davell); sons, Michael Stevenson (Tawana), Uland Stevenson, and Lynn Stevenson (Robee); siblings, Ernest James, Ronald Carmouche (Joyce), and Brent Carmouche; sisters, Sr. Sarah James, Grace James, Willie Carroll (Walter), Beulah Benton (Eugene), and Jackie Lewis (Raymond); grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ashley), Jakiera, Terry, Jr., Karen, Britney, Malik, Lyric, Davell, Jr., Jaren, Solea, & Jarvis; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
