Funeral services for Mary Green Washington of Marksville will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at 11am at Life Point Church in Mansura. Visitation will be held that morning at the church from 9am until the time of service. Interment will commence at the First Union Baptist Cemetery in Bunkie. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Mary Washington, age 55, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at her home in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray Washington; father, Horace Christian, Sr.; brother, Richard Green and her granddaughter, Wykeita Green.
Those left to cherish her memory is her mother, Verda Green Christian of Pineville; daughters, Lakeiosha Green, Lataaka Green of Bunkie, Rhonda Green of Bunkie; sisters, Johnny Mae Morgan of Texarkana, TX, Shirley Shelby of Houston, TX, Mable Green of Alexandria, Lou Ella Ford of Alexandria, Charlotte Green, Ruth Ann Blue, Helen Green, Rosemary Deal and Ruby Randall all of Bunkie; brother, Horace Green of Slidell and her seven grandchildren, Rionte, Travis, Quanrion, Dontavious, Lamarshay, Joe and Zacharii.
