Funeral services for Mathilde Charrier Dupre of Dupont will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, beginning at 12:00pm with Rev. George Krosfield officiating. Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall of Dupont prior to the funeral service, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
Mathilde Dupre, age 90, passed away at the Opelousas General Hospital on Sunday, November 20, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Paul Dupre parents, Antoine Vilmis Frederick Charrier grandson, Daniel Pecquet, II greatgrandson, Jordan Noel and four brothers eight sisters. She is survived by her children, Antoine Eddie Dupre and wife, Fran of Slidell, Paul Irvin Dupre, Jr. and wife, Mary of Broussard, Juanita Pecquet and husband, Daniel of Mandeville, Virginia Grace Dupre of Dupont, Alice Noel of Carencro also eleven grandchildren twentyfour greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
