Maya Ann Gaspard, age 21, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her home in Bunkie.

Those left to cherish  her memory are her mother, Cynthia “Cindy” Normand of Hessmer; father, Shane Gaspard of Bunkie; brothers, Dustin (Chantell) Roy of Fifth Ward and David Roy of Hessmer; paternal grandmother, Debra Roy; maternal aunt: Marian Ponthier and Melissa Normand; maternal uncle, Marcus Cox; niece, Addie Claire Roy; nephews: Aidan Roy, Carter Roy, and Brayden Roy; godmother, Renee Normand Cunnikin. She is also survived by a host of cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Allen & Julia Normand; paternal great-grandma, Marie Roy; maternal uncles, Eugene Ponthier and John Normand; godfather, Benny Charrier.
