Funeral services for Megan Ducote Parra of Cottonport will be held at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Thursday, July 3, 2014 beginning at 11:00am with Father Jos Robles Sanchez officiating. Visitation will also be held that morning at the church from 8:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum 2.
Megan Parra, age 29, passed away at Lafayette General Medical Center on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Dustin Michael Parra children, Austin Steven Parra Breckin Michael Parra, all of Cottonport parents, Steven A. Melissa Juneau Ducote of Cottonport brother, Brennon Paul Ducote of Lafayette sister, Betsy Ducote Jeansonne of Cottonport grandparents, Kenneth P. Judith Brassette Juneau of Cottonport and Perry Myra Ducote of Cottonport.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
The family requests donations be made at the Cottonport Bank where there has been an account setup for a memorial in Megans name.
