Funeral Mass for Melanie Laborde Desselle of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peter Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Thursday, June 8^th, 2023 beginning at 10:00am with Rev. Louis Sklar officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Melanie Desselle, age 49, passed away at her home in Bordelonville on Sunday, June 4^th, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ernest Desselle of Bordelonville; children, Carlie Desselle (Logan), Kyle Fruge, and Bryan Brooks; grandchildren, Rylie and Emmet; her siblings, Floyd Laborde, Jr., Brandon Ortego, Anthony Rodriguez, and Melissa Landry. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Betty Normand, Pauline Landry (Chester); nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jacob, Emily, and Haven. She will be greatly missed by the Desselle Family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd, Sr. and Melanie Laborde; grandparents, Lawrence and Elise Juneau.

Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 7^th, 2023 at the St. Peter Catholic Church Hall on Bordelonville until 9:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am.
