Funeral services and visitation for Melinda Grimes of Gonzales will be held on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 beginning at 8a.m. at Methodist Protestant Church of Lettsworth. The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. the same afternoon. Melinda Grimes, age 46, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her father Murphy Grimes, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Singletary of Gonzales, mother, Littie Grimes of Lettsworth, three brothers, Keith Grimes, Sr., David Grimes, Glenn Grimes of Lettsworth, sister, Wanda Grimes of Simmesport, niece, Trina Grimes, nephews, Darrell LaCour,Jr., Joshua LaCour, Keith Paul Grimes,Jr. Funeral services and arrangements under the direction of Escude' Funeral Homes.
