Funeral Services for Mercedes Dufour Brassette, formerly of Mansura, will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1pm at St. Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura from 9am until 1pm. Burial will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
Mercedes Dufour Brassette, 89 passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Guardian House of Lake Charles, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Eura Plauche' Dufour; her husband, Truitt Brassette; daughter, Phyllis Brassette; her sisters, Sister Mary Phillip Dufour, Cora Stephens Sicard, Betty St. Romain, and brother Phillip Dufour.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her sons Jonathan Brassette and Duane Brassette, both of Lake Charles, La; her daughter Edith Brassette of Combs, AR; her sister, Agnes Roques; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
