Mercedes Gauthier

Funeral services for Mercedes Gauthier of Cottonport will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 beginning at 11am at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Visitation will be held at on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 beginning at 8am until 11am at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Burial will be held at the St. Marys No. 2 Cemetery in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Mercedes Gauthier, age 95, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Eugenia Juneau.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Beverly Mayeaux husband Marvin of Cottonport and her son Perry Gauthier wife Janice of Marksville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, ten stepgreatgrandchildren, and two stepgreatgreatgrandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be J.K. Bordelon, Kemper Bordelon, Joseph Reech, Taylor Reech, Keith Cash, and Ted Gauthier and crossbearer will be Cameron Turner.
