Merlin Tassin

Funeral services for Merlin Joseph Tassin will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Father Edwin RodriguezHernandez officiating. Burial will take place at St. Alphonse cemetery.

Tassin, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 28 at Avoyelles Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lufroi and Adele Bordelon Tassin wife, Gastry Tassin two brothers Lima and Alton Tassin sister, Jane Chenevert and brotherin law, Wilbert Roy.

Survivors include his brother, Richard Tassin, Sr. and wife, Marie of Poland sister, HIlda Roy of Hessmer sisterinlaw, Betty Tassin of Alexandria and 14 neices and nephews.
