Funeral services for Michael Cooper of Cottonport will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 beginning at 2:30pm at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Jos RoblesSanchez officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Escud Funeral Home in Cottonport beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will continue Monday morning at 8am. Burial will be held at St. Marys 2 Cemetery in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Michael Cooper, age 51, passed away at his home in Cottonport on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mike Joyce Cooper of Cottonport his daughter, Nikki Mayeux Matthew of Lafayette his son, Curry Copper, Jr. of Marksville his four grandchildren: Austin Mayeux and Ryan Mayeux both of Lafayette, Alli Gaspard of Plaucheville, and Cameron Cooper of St. Landry his companion Rhonda Davenport and his special cousin who was like a brother, John Cooper.
